Binsexual, also known as binarysexual or dyadsexual, is the exclusive attraction to the binary genders. It is a subtype of disexual. Some individuals assume that those who are bisexual are binsexual, though that is not always accurate.

The romantic counterpart is binromantic.

History

It is unknown when binsexual was originally coined; however, its earliest mention appears to be by Spiralgalaxyuwu on October 8, 2020.

Flags

The first binsexual flag was created by FANDOM user Rosewatera on an unknown date. It is likely based on the bisexual flag.

The second flag was created by a user going by Alex on December 29, 2020. It is also based on the bisexual flag. The dark blue represents masculine women, the light blue represents masculine men, the white represents neutral/genderless-presenting men and women, the light purple represents androgynous men and women, as well as men and women who are fluid in presentation, the dark purple represents xenine men and women, the light pink represents feminine women, and the dark pink represents feminine men. The pink figure and blue figure represent men and women; however, the outlines of both of them have the opposite colors, as to represent how presentation doesn't define them. The rainbow represents the distinct and natural queerness of being binsexual, and the heart represents attraction and unity.

The fourth flag was created by FANDOM user RoseWatera on August 26, 2021. It is based on the original binsexual flag. The cyan represents masculinity, the sky blue represents masculine women, and the blue represents men. The purple represents gender non-conforming men and women. The hot pink represents women, the salmon represents feminine men, and the light pink represents femininity.
