The epinixene flag.
Epinixene is a nixic gender that has both genderless and epicene or epicene-aligned aspects. This may manifest as identifying partially as epicene or gender neutral. These aspects can be experienced simultaneously, fluidly, or through fluctuations. It is intended for those who feel simultaneously connected and disconnected from epicenity. As well as those who have difficulty distinguishing their alignment from their gender.
History
Epinixene was coined by Tumblr user gender-resource on December 20, 2019.[1] The word comes from a combination of nix, coming from the German word meaning "nothing" or "none", and the word epicene.
