Ficto-

Ficto/Ficto- (also known as Ficti-, Ficton-, Fictio-, Fiction- or Fictional-) is an orientation and umbrella term for anyone who experience exclusive attraction toward fictional characters, experience attraction to a general type of fictional characters, or whose orientation is influenced by fictional characters.

Some Ficto individuals experience attraction to certain genders in fiction, but don't experience attraction to said genders in the non-fictional world. For example, one may experience attraction to all genders in fiction, but only experience attraction to women in the non-fictional world. Other A-spec Ficto- individuals feels attraction exclusively to individuals whom they could never possibly be in a relationship with, such as fictional characters.

For some, Ficto- is an A-spec identity that is exclusive to A-spectrum people.[1][2] Others consider Ficto- to be for anyone who wants to identify that way, Allo- or Aspec.
