Juana Tres Cocos

Juana tres cocos, also known as María tres cocos or Juanita tres cocos, is a Chilean derogatory term against gender non-conforming women and transmasculine people in general, in order to maintain the status quo in which AFAB people should be feminine and lady like. [1]

Origins

The term translates directly as "Juana three coconuts", with Juana being a common female name and coconuts meaning "testicles" in Chilean Spanish slang. This term indicates that the targets of the slur are more masculine/male than cis-men themselves. [2]

Reclaiming

Unlike camiona or fleta, this word hasn't been widely reclaimed, but it is possible to find examples of queer and gender non-conforming women who do call themselves juana tres cocos with pride. [3]
