Neurogeneric sparks, which may be shortened to neurosparks, or nebula sparks (inspired by nebularomantic/ace) are a subset of Gender Sparks specific to neurodivergent individuals, that feel as though their condition's traits and/or symptoms impact their connection and/or relationship with gender, rather than the gender itself.

Identifying an experience as a neurogeneric spark is a personal choice. One may have similar experiences, but prefer not to classify them as sparks.

A neurospark could look like the following:

  • An individual may suddenly experience difficulties defining their connection to a particular 'hood' (e.g. manhood or womanhood), or have it alternate, while their gender identity remains the same, due to neurodivergence.
  • One experiences a neurogender related to their condition for a longer time than expected, or more intensely than expected. Or, one's connection to neurogender increases.

More important information can be found on the main page: Gender sparks.
