Orchidsexual is an orientation where one feels sexual attraction, but does not desire a sexual relationship. Someone who identifies with this may consider people sexually attractive, but lacks the want to have or dislikes having sexual experiences.
It is an orientation on the Asexual Spectrum that can be used on it’s own or as an umbrella term (Orchidspec). Orchidsexual can be described as “the opposite of Cupiosexual”.
Etymology
The term was named after the orchid, a flower often used to symbolize love, sex and fertility.
History

Flags
The orchidsexual flag was created at the same time with the term, by the same creator. Two flags were created, the colors holding the same meanings. Pink represents attraction, grey represents the Asexual Spectrum, purple represents sexual relationships, and black represents the lack of desire or unwanting. A simplified orchid outline symbol is featured on the flags to acknowledge the term's etymology.
