Poetgender (also known as poemgender, poetrygender, genderpoet, and genderpoem) is a type of artgender and also an aesthetigender/xenogender in which ones' gender is influenced and/or related to poetry whether it's a whole or partial connection. It can be the general concept of poetry, the making of poetry, reading poetry, speaking poetry, and/or any connection of your gender identity to poetry.

History

Poetgender was coined by the fandom user @Dxxnkichu on December 29th, 2020.

Flag

In the poetgender flag, purple stands for creativity while orange represents a writers' block and they blend together to show the ammounts/stages of a writers' block. The blue represents calmness while the uncompleted circle that's filled in with a small gap shows how poetry can complete itself without necissarily being "complete" or being left on a clifhanger even though you can guess exactly what happens after it. The harsh zig-zag line shows how unexpected something in a poem could be and it's blended with a gradiant of mint (new) to pink (old) to show how the unexpected thing may bring a piece together.
