The Samhainban flag.
Samhainban (pronounced sow-in-ban) is a gender that is connected to the darker and more spiritual side of “halloween”, Samhain. This gender is coined only for those who celebrate this holiday as they are the ones who would feel this strong connection.
History
This term was coined by Tumblr user bioodclan on 31st October, 2020. The flag was created the same day.[1]
Flag
- Red to orange represent the fires that took place during the holiday. The orange also represents vitality of life within death.
- White to represent the colour of bones.
- Black to represent the death and endings.
- The symbol in the centre is the traditional Celtic symbol for Samhain ( sow-in ).
