If a term has already been unintentionally recoined with the same name and a different definition, this should be mentioned on the page itself in that page's definitions and history sections. In some cases, it may be chosen to separate the two versions of the term into different pages (such as [[Dreamgender]] and [[Dreamgender (Mcytgender)]]).
Separating two versions of a term isn't preferable, but is also sometimes necessary to keep information easy to find, accurate, and clear. Choosing to separate two different iterations of an article should be a community decision. Any user who thinks it would be appropriate to do so can start a discussion about this in the comments, and [[Template:SeparateSeparation]] may be added to the top of the article to help bring attention to that discussion. Major reasons a term should get different pages for different definitions:
